The second to last part of my trip. I’m not much of an animal photographer but I do make exceptions from time to time…
This was a couple of miles north of Venice Beach. Street hockey is awesome!
These things were so cool even though they just laid there.

These little guys were awesome. And hungry.
And not shy.
Mom was throwing sand while the pup was trying to get some grub!
This was on the pacific one highway. We were about halfway to San Francisco right here. I just had to take a picture of the irony.
Before I left for San Francisco, I stayed with my two friends Raychel and Carmine in L.A. for a couple of days. Raychel cooked an awesome dinner that night.
On the left we have a really sweet pelican in Oceanside, CA and on the right is a surfer getting ready to shred in San Diego, CA.
The lone seagull.
A pier in Oceanside.
The very end of a sunset in Laguna Beach, CA.
I like pelicans.
Danny and I had been looking for some huge cacti that weren’t on private property and then we came across these gems.
We had to keep moving the tripod out of the road because cars kept coming and by the time we had a shot, the sun was pretty much down but I think it still came out okay.
On the left is a vertical shot from our cacti photo shoot and on the right is nicely lit cone belonging to the city of San Diego!
On the left is my friend Chris whom I stayed with during my visit to San Diego. On the right is a text message that he said he randomly receives pretty often in different forms from different people. Needless to say, Chris was very entertaining in addition to being a great host.
Here is Danny taking in a west Texas sunset while we stopped for gas and walked around.
A neat fountain in a Phoenix public park.
On the left is another picture of Danny from west Texas and on the right is Danny climbing up a mountain in Phoenix. We decided that we wanted to climb a mountain more than we wanted to ride mountain bike trails but we couldn’t just leave our bikes so they climbed the mountain with us.
And we finally made it to the top of the mountain.
Phoenix’s finest.
A good bit of the festival watching Melt Banana
Looking back at the crowd that was watching The Sword
