Rikki & Brandon

Sunday, May 9th, 2010

Here is a shot from Rikki’s bridals and a shot from Rikki and Brandon’s engagements.  I really like the colors in both of these.  By the way, I’ll be out of town for a week so there won’t be any posts and if you send me an email, I’ll get back to you around the 17th or 18th when I’m back in the office.  Thanks!

Benji Kirsch

Monday, May 3rd, 2010

My friend Benji and I went on a LATE night ride recently and as we were passing by a public park, I noticed that it was super foggy and I thought it made the light look interesting so we swung by my office, grabbed a camera and a lens, and took some pictures.  What do YOU think?

Kathryn

Wednesday, April 28th, 2010

I did some senior pictures for a track star recently.  I believe she said she’s rated like 12th in the nation in the pole vault.  Here are a few of the ones she picked.  I was really pumped on her semi-serious face in the first shot.  She was all about the smile but managed to give me a few sorta-kinda pensive shots.

Alida

Tuesday, April 20th, 2010

I shot some film and digital for Alida for the blog she’s working on.  She’s a graduating fashion major and actually made the orangejacket she’s wearing!  These are some of the images she picked.

Madelyn

Thursday, March 25th, 2010

Here are Madelyn’s senior pictures.  She’s okay in my book because we have the same favorite band (Band of Horses).  Here are some of the one’s she picked.  All the B&W’s were scanned on my new V700.  I like how they came out.  P.S.  I’ve been super duper busy which is why I’ve been so bad at updating the blog more often than every two weeks.  Thanks for being patient!

Portraits!

Monday, March 1st, 2010

So I’m going to post a couple of things.  The first two shots are of seniors and these were my favorite shots of each of them that they picked from each of their sessions.  The second one is actually my first cousin!  The next one is a black and white shot on Kodak 400 CN film of Hungarian pro BMXer Bazsi Ivanfi after we had dinner at my apartment.  The last one is of my mother holding my dog, Girl.  I just think she looks cute and like a little girl in this picture.  I’m sitting on a ton of pictures right now that I can’t post quite yet but look for them soon!

Road Trip

Sunday, December 13th, 2009

Hi there.  I’m leaving today on a road trip to California for 3 weeks so blog updates will probably be far and few between so thanks in advance for being patient.

Here’s a photo of me, my girlfriend, and our friend Steph while visiting Austin recently to go to FunFunFun Festival.  Look for pictures from that when I get back!

Death of Skepsis

Sunday, December 6th, 2009

Here are some promos I did of Death of Skepsis (http://www.myspace.com/deathofskepsis).  They made my job especially easy because they did exactly what I said for as long as I wanted and were just great and very professional in general.  It was a fun shoot.

New

Monday, November 16th, 2009

I’m working with Bram Johnson of http://www.teamworkadgroup.com/ right now on two new websites… An update of this one and a wedding site. The update of this one should be done in the next few weeks so keep checking back. Until then, here are a few pictures that are going to go in my updated portfolio with one already being in my current portfolio.

Mickey Marshall

Thursday, October 29th, 2009

I was riding the Ramp Park here in Lafayette, LA yesterday and Mickey Marshall (first two pictures) was just going too high for me to not go home and get my camera to take some pictures. When I got back, my heart sank for a second because Mickey and everyone else were gone but I called and found out they were just getting some food down the street. Of course, after I got my shot of Mickey, the portrait photographer within came out and I shot some snaps of everyone else. Here are a few of my favorites. Everything but the digital image at the bottom was shot on Kodak BW400CN film (I think I like the digital version of Mickey airing out better).

How high do you think he’s getting? I’m guessing about 7 ft. and the quarter is 7 ft. so… not bad! Haha, for the record, Mickey had some really good inverts out of the quarter but he got substantially higher in these pictures so I used them instead.
